I've recently moved back to my homeland of New Zealand (after 25 years away!) and am enjoying the lovely wools available. Of course New Zealand is well known for it's sheep but there are some lovely blends of Merino and possum or even Alpaca.
So I got busy making hats using some lovely hand dyed 100% Merino Wool from @dyehappyyarn, using a pattern I found on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/615819685/crochet-hat-pattern-the-relief-hat. I made the hat a little longer so it's more slouchy and didn't add a pom pom. The best news is it only took about 4 hours to make so have ordered some more wool and will be making many more of these :-)
